Mobile Crisis Services

Vermont’s Community Mobile Crisis Program is here to support and reassure people dealing with emotional, mental health, or substance use crises.

Available 24 hours a day, this program provides rapid, effective, and compassionate support, ensuring no person, regardless of age, is left to face their crisis alone.

A 2-person team can meet you, whether you’re at home, your workplace, or another community setting, providing the utmost convenience and comfort during distressing times. This mobile response team is composed of highly skilled providers and recovery coaches, offering a blend of expertise and caring support.

Key services offered include:

  • Two-Person Team: A duo of trained professionals including at least one trained Clinician, providing mental health support

  • Rapid Mobile Response: A swift and mobile service that comes to you.

  • 24-Hour Intervention: Around-the-clock support for crises, ensuring help is available at any time.

  • Screening and Triage: Initial evaluation to determine the nature and severity of the crisis and prioritize care accordingly.

  • Safety Planning: A personalized plan is developed with you to ensure your safety and well-being.

  • Peer Support: Guidance from people with personal mental health and/or substance use recovery experience, trained to provide peer support services.

  • Other Languages: Translator services available.

  • Follow-up Services: Follow-up support and check-ins are available.

  • Care Coordination: Collaborating with various community organizations and professionals to provide a holistic approach to your care.

  • Overnight Crisis Beds and Other Services: Temporary overnight accommodation for people in crisis, along with additional supportive services.

Anyone experiencing an emotional, mental health, and/or substance use related crisis regardless of whether you have insurance or are able to pay
